As a web designer, I am always looking for awesome photos to include in my designs. I hate buying stock photos just to use them once. So, I decided to make a list of some of my favorite sites for free stock photos. Most of the website owners look for free stock photos, then you may want to take a look at some of these sites. Here is a great resource for free stock photos.
Most of the site use Creative Commons Zero (CC0), which means you can copy, modify, distribute and use the photos for free, including commercial purposes, without asking permission from or providing attribution to the photographer.
Pixabay is a vibrant community of creatives, sharing copyright free images and videos. PLiXS is an online photo community for creative peoples who wants to share their fantastic impressions with other enthusiasm artists. All uploaded works licensed with the creative commons attribution – that means, the photos can be use with the corresponding license.
Foter.com allows you to search, manage and add free stock photos to blogs, forums, websites and other online media. They host over 220 million free Creative Commons images from many online sources and the entire system is also available as a WordPress plugin for seamless use within the WordPress platform.
StockSnap has hundreds of high resolution images added weekly.The images here can be filtered by date or You can discover photos by searching keywords or by looking at the latest posts.
Unsplash Beautiful, free photos.Gifted by the world’s most generous community of photographers.Over 300,000 free (do whatever you want) high-resolution photos available.If you subscribe with your email, you will receive 10 images every 10 days as a way to discover new content.Unsplash has been used in everything from Apple keynotes to the default theme shipped with WordPress. You’ve probably already seen a photo from Unsplash, you just didn’t know it.
Flickr community, home to tens of billions of photos and 2 million groups.Images on Flickr have various image licensing so be sure to read before using the image.

Free Images is a source of stock photos that are free to use and they have 390,676 free photos. They have a collection of images that are separated by many categories and can be search by using the search function with keywords.
Pexels has best free stock photos in one place.You can find the free images by category. New photos are added every week and are all royalty-free.
RGB Stock has a directory of over 100,000 photos that are royalty free. You may search their database with keywords or by generic categories. If you register for an account, you can create embeddable galleries of images to use for your e-commerce store.
Stock Vault is a free stock photo resource with over 35,000 images available. The photos are contributed for free by artists and photographers within their community. They have images of just any object imaginable so you might find something fitting for your Shopify or e-commerce store.
